Great news in a time where there seems to be nothing but bad regarding the auto industry.

In my small town gas was $2.99 yesterday. The night before it was $3.18. How much will gas be tomorrow? Trucks and SUVs may soon make a comeback. Thank goodness I didn't trade in the Tahoe for something that got better MPG.

I doubt either will make a large comeback, and if they do not for any extended period of time. Most analysts agree that the gas drop is a temporary one and that we may top the highs of this summer by next summer. A lot of people are wary about making such a large purchase that may put them in the same boat that they were in this past summer. I would love to be wrong on that one though for several reasons.

Gas is $1.99 this morning. Obviously it's going to be temporary, but I wonder how long it'll stick around.

Its still $2.999 here. The extreme northern California counties along side with the Bay area have the highest prices in the 48 states. Hawaii was $3.89 last week when I left.
