Fiat's customer satisfaction lower than Chryslers?
Ruh-Roh, Chrysler: Fiat finishes dead last in new British J.D. Power survey
What automaker has a lower owner satisfaction score in the UK than Chrysler? The one and only company that makes automobiles less tasty to UK consumers is Fiat. Both brands, which are soon to be joined at the arm rest, scored significantly below both the industry average and survey champ Lexus, which enjoyed its ninth year topping the charts. The rest of the top five are Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Skoda, and Toyota.
What owners in the UK have to say about Chrysler and Fiat doesn't necessarily go for the rest of the world; after all, they prefer Rugby and Cricket to our Football and Baseball. It just may be, however, that like those seemingly separate but similar sporting endeavors, the overseas opinion of Chrysler and Fiat as bottom feeders may not be entirely far off from what North American consumers think.

I can't see how that has any impact on how Fiat vehicles will be received here when they start arriving.
If they make sub-par vehicles (compared to everyone else) then I'd say their acceptance (or lack thereof) will show it. If, however, they produce some quality, well put together economical vehicles than they'll probably do well.
One thing is certain, quality built, economical, efficient small vehicles are certainly not in Chrysler's stables at the moment so Fiat certainly has the potential of filling that void.

Take it all with a grain of salt.
European standards of quality are well above what we settle for here in the US. Volkswagen's Golf has a far more solid and better quality interior than, say, a Cobalt. However, it ranks on the lower half of typical standards of Euro cars.
Fiat's low Euro rating is probably on par with the current North American Ford Focus that has gotten great reviews and a pretty solid following.
