Feeling Stagnant In Here

I love this place and I’ve been coming here for over 3 years but does the 5th Gen forum seem like it’s been a lot slower the last few months compared to the last year or two. It feels like to me there are less new threads, less post and less overall exciting in here lately. I’m not missing the super long SS vs. Z28 threads but I am missing more involvement around here. This is a gold mine of information for future cars and a great place to talk the Camaro but it’s just felt almost stagnant to me lately. I feel like I hardly post in here anymore compared to how I used to. Anyone else feeling this or is it just me?

C6 is out, Mustang is out, CTS-V is out, GTO is out. Most of the core cars discussed here are already made public. And there's nothing new with the 5th gen. This site was never that big on foriegn cars either. All add upto a slower 5th gen.

I posted a topic on the GTO going racing, and none even replied with 55 views.

Personally, I know i've been doing a lot more reading than posting lately.

I did notice that this forum passed the F Body Lounge in number of posts. I feel Like I have gotten alot of great info since I started coming to this site. I think that all message boards go through some down times where not much excitement goes on and this site has gone through that. Dont give up on this place Stars, to me its the best place to get news and info on upcoming new cars...especially our BELOVED Camaro.

If its stagnant now, I'd hate to see it if the 5th gen doesnt come out until 2008.

I also think they pruned alot of the old posts out of the lounge.

This happens every year. For a few months around the time of the big auto shows, this place is so exciting. New info. and pics of great new cars seem to pop up every day. After that, when it returns to normal it feels like a bit of a letdown.

Thats because there is No 5th gen even planned to be in the works, and these people are making posts talking about possible 2007 models(how they look, engine, what tail lights will look like...and its all far fetched speculation). It gets old real quick and I find it a little pitaful...If you guys plan on gettin new cars get on w/ your lifes the camaros gone, and quite possibly forever...Id say screw chevy and move onto something else the way they screwed you by killing the fbody...they lost alot of peoples loyalty

Hello Ford fan, how are you doing today?

Yeah it has been a little slow lately. The big kickoff of the auto show season is over. Once C6's, new Mustangs, Cobalts, and CTSv's start rolling of the assembly lines for the public I'm sure it'll pick back up. Because by then we should start hearing more about the Z06 and Cobra models.

I'm not even willing to go that far

If things are slow, that's simply because there's little to talk about WRT the 5th gen, as others mentioned, and because the discussion of any other aspect of the industry usually just involves a few of us nerds.
