Falcon FPV GT-P Video
Must storm Ford and hold them hostage until they agree to bring this stateside!
I wonder if any of this might be relavent to a future Mustang powerplant? The 5.4 in the GT500 is on the way out and Ford has said from the get go that the coyote is designed with supercharging in mind.

Awesome. Am I the only one who thinks that the exhaust on that car is a bit too raspy and crackly though? It sounds great coming towards the camera, but as it leaves, it is a bit too much in my opinion. That can be fixed easily of course. Nice car.

Gee. How quickly we forget that it was Bush administration that first pushed the hybrid as the future for the automobile. And how we are so ready to ignore that we very closely wound up with the automotive "world" according to Senator Shelby (R), that would have buried GM & Chrysler, while making Toyota and Honda THE American car companies.... and they have more Hybrids than Ford.
We also seem to have amnesia that it was also the Bush administration that first set up new fuel economy standards in over a third of a century.... including the preliminary work for that 2010 standard.
Finally, we forget that Ford developed the Fusion hybrid completely under the Bush administration under the inititive of none other than the Ford Motor Company. An effort that has been ongoing for most all of this decade. The proud fact is that an American car maker has managed to make a hybrid that is both practical, makes financial business sense, and is extremely effective at saving fuel... moreso than just about anything else in it's class. Something that even the Prius is still struggling to do. Something that the Malibu Hybrid could never manage.
To top it off, the Fusion and MKS Hybrids cost the same as conventional powered versions with the same trim levels.
There is nothing to be ashamed of with the Ford Fusion Hybrid since it knocks over Toyota's reputation as the king of Hybrid technology. Only those who know no better would knock the car by tying it to something stupid... like politics.
But if you want to pull politics into automotive discussions like this (and if we are, we may as well at least be accurate) we can at least say the Obama administration came up with a way to save General Motors, something congress twice refused to do....... enjoy your supercharged, 550+ horsepower ZR1 Corvette, CTSv, and upcoming supercharged Z28.

Re: Falcon FPV GT-P Video
Ford is the one that didn't design the chassis to be LHD so really this is all their fault.
Re: Falcon FPV GT-P Video
Agreed, while not really suitable for a Mustang chassis, the Falcon would have been nice underpinning big Ford & Lincoln RWD stuff (like a New Ford police car).
