Equinox???
OK, I really want to buy one of these for my wife and I'd really like to be the first here in Lincoln to own one. Does anyone know for sure when you can start ordering one??? I talked to my local dealer and he was saying within 60-90 days but that sounds pretty broad. I'd like to have it before we go on vacation in June if possible. Help!!!
Also, what color??? I'm leaning towards Black or Silver but I'd really like to see some color options...

Based on our Envoy experience I'd strongly suggest you wait a while before getting one. We got our dealer's first ordered Envoy and have had lots of niggly problems with it. The service department as much as told us it's never a good idea to get in early on a new vehicle.
I expected that it would have new vehicle bugs ...what I didn't expect was that the dealer and GM seem to deny/ignore problems until they have enough complaints in the system to take them serious. I've got reams of service orders with "could not duplicate symptoms" on them

That really says a lot about the state of GM quality if the service department says not to buy early Has nothing changed in the last 20 years or is this just an isolated case?

adequate maybe (and thats for people who aren't "car people" any enthusiast would be bored to tears) worthy of a brand new vehicle, hardly.
When you come out with a new car, the bar should be raised and it looks like they stuck a 6 year old engine in cause they wanted to call it a day and go home early.
Its like the C6 debuting and all they have is the same old 350hp LS1.
My gf wants an SUV and likes the look of the Equinox. When I told her it has the same engine and would be much slower then her Grand Am GT--she wasn't very interested anymore.
