El Camino

Yeah I know this is a BIG grey area among GM loyals, but I personally like the EL Camino. In accordance with that I thought I would show you this
I found it on the web and this is the only picture I could find of it. Now notice the supercharged emblem on the pass. side rear bumper. I think this is a modified W-body monte carlo(also take a look at the b pilar). Now I say if GM is going to bring it out then do it right. If you are going to make a Camino give us a UTE

Not a fan, like I said before... BUT I think that looks better than the SSR or the UTE... (love the color, BTW)

Just my Two Pennies...

Thumbs up

Now that's what I'm talking about!

I too think the color is excellent. What's really curious is that it seems to be Impala bodywork grafted on a UTE. the doors & window glass is purely UTE. Also curious is what is it doing at SEMA?? It's not advertising aftermarket parts, and it's not a variation of an existing car (ie: GPX).

Since it was at SEMA, it will almost certainly be at LAIAS (we get alot of SEMA leftovers). Can't wait to take a gander at it then.

That is nice! A little Impala on the tail lights but other than that, it lookes great! I think if they had put that in the market it should sell quite well.

Ya, it's a little "Frankenstein-ish" when you think of it...

Impala rear end...
Monte Carlo SS type trim, and font...
UTE roof line...

Its a little over done to me. I'd rather see the UTE over here than that. And if thats a w-body that means FWD. No thanks!

wow...that is cool ! I would love to have it, as long as it is rear drive. If its fwd, they should stop immediately and rethink this.

That UTE is definitely very cool and would definitely be able to carry the Camino name.

Yeah, looks like the Ute's profile to me. Maybe just a feeler to guage response. You'd think there'd be a room in today's truck/utility-driven market for it. Too Frankenstein? I don't think anymore than the originals. Again, hopefully not FWD SC V6...

Yeah it is a little freekish, but I kinda like it. I can't quite figure out if I like or dislike the lights on the tailgate. It's not as boring as the utes rear but I don't think I've seen that on truck before. It looks like it would be a fun and practical daily commuter. Hmmmmm?
