Just made my reservations Ramada Inn in Bowling Green....yipee! FYI, www.hotels.com lists the Continental Inn next to the plant as being available, but I called them to try and get a better rate, and they're booked solid for "the damn Camaro show" BTW, use hotels.com to compare hotels, then use their address to get the phone # and call them up personally...I saved $20 that way.

So who's going? Doug? poSSum? Charlie? BG Summit anyone? I can't wait...this year I'm driving down Wednesday vs. Thursday night the way I did 2 years ago (when it ran Fri-Sun). Running over soft luggage in Buffalo at 3 AM and almost hydroplaning off I-71 at 1 AM on the return trip were not highlights of the last time I went 1,050 miles each way for me...

So who's going guys??? And if anyone wants to question why this isn't in the lounge, this is related to the BG Summit and none of those turkeys will go anyway!!

I have a nephew who's getting married that Saturday afternoon....and a music gig that evening....but "should" be there for Friday and a possible "Summit" Saturday AM.

Haven't booked my room yet, but I'll likely be staying at the Courtyard Marriott.

 

Trying to see if I can re-arrange some things. I'm glad the Continental is booked up.....I wouldn't stay there again anyway.

So is it this weekend? I live about an hour and a half from Bowling Green. I might be up there on Sunday, since I have to work on Friday and Saturday.

 

Try and get there early. The SSOA is doing a 'cruise to Sonic" on Wednesday evening.

I'll keep that in mind, plus I love Sonic Honestly, we'll probably be a little late...my ETA in Bowling Green is around 8 PM if we leave MA at 4 AM, which I fully intend to do! After a quick car clean-up, I'm sure we can meet up with you guys though...did I mention I love Sonic??

 

I am thinking about going, I didn't make it last year I changed my mind that week when it looked like which ever hurricane it was at the time was going to ruin the weekend. I was there in 2002 and 2003, it was great but the price is a little high for what they offered, so I have to think about it before breaking out the card.

I am taking my dad down in Aug. for a plant tour, I'll be keeping my eyes open for Z06s and XLR-Vs.

Anything special this year?

 

I'd like to but I dont think I can make both BG and NAIAS.

 

The plan is to already be down south on vacation around that time, and so Ill certainly stop by along the way. I have to make up for missing it at the last second last year.

 

I would love to go as I missed last year's, but that week I'm either going to have an extremely pregnant wife or a new baby girl.....Need to stay close to the house
