That's the same generic reply they've been sending out sicne the day the F-Body was discontinued.

Don't get too worked up over it.

 

Yup, Lutz has somewhat hinted at the return of the Camaro in a blog last month. It's coming, they just can't say anything about it yet

 

are you talking about this blog entry? I don't think he hinted at anything.

 

Look past the lawyers, and tell me what you see.

 

Did you expact them to say "There are plans to bring back the Camaro in a couple years, so start saving up your money!"

 

Call me cynical, but I see them baiting "us". that is all.

 

Its not even a bait. People are seeing what he did not write. He said NO, not MAYBE. When (or if) the news is broke about the new camaro, I doubt it will come from Mr. Lutz.

 

U read the letter Camaro faithful, ALL IS LOST!!!! . Drop those dreams of driving a fifth gen and start saving those greenbacks for that hot new MC SS with the rumbly V-8 . What more could U need ?

 

Oh it's coming, GM is smart, they know we are foaming at the mouth waiting.

 

The car will come. If the Red Sox won the World Series, we will see a 5th gen. Instead of putting that "Believe!" Red Sox bumper sticker on the rear window of the GP last fall, maybe I shoulda put it on the Z so it would have dual meanings

 

He didn't say it wasn't coming, he said he wasn't announcing it on the blog.

 

Seems like that his blog about the Camaro was beat into the ground with a 10+ page thread if I remeber correctly. Lets hope we don't have to go another 10+ pages about the same thing.

 

I think we will all get the " Chevelle ", the new GTO in 07 will be built in the US, GM loves copying one car and selling it as another. IE see cam/frbird envoy/trailblazer, sunfire / cavalier , vue/equinox etc.


I hope it is not the case, but I fear the camaro , she is gone for quite some time....in which case I will freak out and mail a dirty diaper to gm.

 

If you don't know something is coming already then you should definately search, BTW I believe the naming situation has been resolved.
