However, I still think Dodge needs a coupe version of the Charger, for those that think the Challenger is just too big and just too retro.
That would be me. I think the Challenger looks good, and the styling was done well. But it is just to retro for me. I'll take a Camaro or SRT8 Charger over the Challenger any day.

That looks great. I wish GM would have rebadged the G8 as a Chevy. I would have one sitting in my driveway right now.

I was hoping for more of a styling change than that.

Don't see much change and don't think I like what I see, as in still mostly ugly. Not that I haven't seen a few black SRT's that looked pretty good.

Wow, even if they have high quality, dash-fondle-worthy materials inside, the horrific melted-dog-bone shape of the dash recalls (bad) memories of late-80s Tauruses . . .

Still looks like a truck front end to me. Thanks but no thanks.

Agreed. If I wanted a Ram I would just buy a Ram.

Well - a 290-300hp V6 will help some, but it will still lose ground to the base Camaro & Mustang.

And adding 25-50 hp should the SRT close the performance gap against the Mustang GT & Camaro SS.

It looks like an improvement, but I can't help but think that it will suffer the same fate as the 2010 Camaro. Since the passenger side looks like its going to end up being a sea of plain blackness.

Its ashame the G8 isn't going to be around to compete with the Charger. That interior shot, I hope is still in the pre-production stages because that looked pretty horrid, even a step back as far as design and layout!

I don't know . . . the top end has all of the rounded shapes, but the bottom end and center console haven't seemed to change that much from the current stuff.

It's almost like they knew they had to do something to update it, but didn't want to, so they slapped a curved dash cover on it and let it go at that.

I actually like the nose on the current Charger a bit better than these pics. But I'm imagine that the revised styling of the car as a whole will be a lot nicer.

I can't imagine what Dodge would do the revise the Challenger. Besides getting smaller which isn't going to happen. Where do they go from here?
