Also stated is that Ford will continue to run the Taurus for "as long as it is around" and that NASCAR is pushing manufacturers to make their stock cars look more like the street versions. GM has no plans to switch from Monte Carlo for '05.

That would seem to contradict the 'universal body template' they've been pushing the last last, I dunno, 2 years or so (sorry, not a NASCAR fan).

Will the new Charger get the 4 foot tall super spoiler. That'd be cool to watch.

I think Taurus is still being sold as a fleet car, but I could be wrong. I'm not sure what the NASCAR regs are, but I think Taurus can still be used as long as it is selling. Anyone know the NASCAR rules on this?
