Thanks for posting. I think it's a great commercial. Especially during some FIFA World Cup games.
Say what you want about the Challenger. But it could only come from US of A.

You know it's built in Canada, right?

On a side note...they ran 2 pilot 2011 Challengers with the 6.4L Hemi down the line last night. Pretty darn impressive from what I've heard.

Ok you can't drop a teaser like that without some more details. Any other info from last night, times? Impressions?

Yes I know and there are economic reasons for that. I don't care if it was built in China the idea behind it came from not just the US but Detroit area minds.

This is a good one too.

I dunno, a company managed by italians, selling cars on German platforms that are built in Canada...and they have to pull George Washington out the grave? I thought the Harley Earl ads were bad. Somehow I could see some Italian manager in Auburn Hills thinking this kind of thing would appeal to Americans. The Jeep one was nice, but this one was just

To equate this to GM's lame *** Harley Earl ads of a few years ago is pretty weak. The Challenger spot is genius marketing. The average American has no idea who the hell Harley Earl was, they sure as hell know who George Washington is. And furthermore, the ad was meant to play on the absurd notion of the Continental Army using American muscle cars. It's funny, and funny is what gets attention.

I agree. It's pretty hokey, patriotic stuff they're pimping. It does nothing for me.

I'm not a fan either....George Washington looks more like Robin Williams...
