Im just skeptical that Jason D even replied to it...and blatently said it didnt exsist............
makes me think other wise..thats why I say maybee its possible..Im not saying Jason is lying to us...but Im sure as this website is a major source of GM fan related activity he must of been contacted by GM on the subject of such things..like new Vette spy pics..down to 5th gen pics..and if they did get leaked to be pulled by the moderator or the webmaster....just like any site would do..as others of other sites had to do..same case here???.

but also!!!
rumor has it the Chevy Chevette is comming back to fight the Ford Focus...

I "must have been contacted"? Nope. Not a word was said to me. I am just tired of BS stories with fake pictures being passed off as "real".

I made my earlier post simply because I know of absolutely NO "official" 5th gen beta/prototype/test car/whatever to even exist at this point, either in sketch form or otherwise. That is the world according to me. If they are real and floating around out there, it is news to me. I don't claim to be an expert or the horse's mouth on such things, but I do usually know about things before many. I also know to keep my trap shut.

I am not one for misinformation. If I knew of such accurate pics, I would either not say anything or if I am told to take them down, I would just take them down.

And here is additional proof of my theory...if someone were to posess offical 5th gen F-body pics and they were to even attempt to sell them on eBay, GM would take care of it with fearful force before most of us even saw the auction. If they are smart enough to be able to get real images, they should be smart enough not to mess with the General.

Speaking of which, did you see the name of the person who posted that the pics would go up on eBay? "TXDT Spy Shots Inc." You don't see cars suspiciously driving around banks with "Getaway Car" plastered on the side of it do you? Do a web search for "TXDT Spy Shots" and see how many accurate results you get, a big fat zero, which is how much truth this entire subject carries in my opinion.

What can they do? Say that they won't allow them to get any more unreleased pics before other people get them?

thats kinda what I mean as GM probably would say something to you if something genuine came to this board to kindly remove it...
Im sure if I got ahold of the next vette pics and posted them here..you dont think GM would be getting in touch with you very fast?
thats all...but who knows ..maybee there is some thing out there that had pics..would of been cool to see someones concept though
I was thinking it was the "now colored plastics commercial" shot of that red car that puts robot painters out of a job..cool looking car..and someone just posted that pic as the 5th gen..

If GM did have a beta, or any type of prototype or test car running around, that car would be less than a couple of years away from production, which I know for a fact, Camaro isn't.

As I've said, I believe these photos are a hoax, but we do know the new redone GTO is about 2 years from production.

IF those photos are real, it's far more likely to be a new GTO or Chevy Monte/Chevelle than it is to be a Camaro IMO.

I would think that if they are honest to goodness real pictures that the rags would be paying more for them than any individual would on ebay.
