Not that I can afford one anyway. But Im not so sure anything GM does could make me want a 5th gen over one of those. Those things are awesome.

The little subtle differences between the regular CTS and teh V just set the car on fire.

I like the street version of the CTSv just fine, but holy crap, THAT'S how it needs to look!

Looks great!
I went to the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta this past weekend. First time I had ever been to see that kind of racing. The C5R sounds awesome on the track...and it was kickin some butt too. I finally got to see the SSR in person, I really like it! I also got to hang out with the host of Dream Car Garage on Speed Channel(we had special passes ) Sorry for rambling off topic.

Those fender flares are HOT. Makes that already aggressive looking car look that much meaner! Can't wait to see how it will do when it finally goes racing. to Cadillac right now, it seems every couple of months, they're doing something big in automotive news.

I'm gonna have one as soon as the mark ups are over. I bought a Vette and found out 3 weeks later the wife was pregnant, so now with 2 kids, she's stuck if she has to go somewhere while i'm at work. I'm sure someone will come out with the flares.

Awesome.

One question: Are there other performance sedans racing in the GT Lemans class? I thought this was primarily a Porsche/Ferrari coupe class or a class maybe a coupe version of the XLR would be better suited for. Maybe i'm wrong.

The only cars I've seen in ALMS GT class is the Porsche 911, Ferrari 360, and the BMW M3. The CTSv is a sweet car and looks bad azz but to take on these cars is going to be one tough challenge!
Cadillac would be better off in a V8 Supercar type racing than ALMS GT.

Holy crap, thats one mean looking Caddy!

Caddillac is on a roll!

I hope if there is a 5th gen Camaro, it gets this much attention from GM too.

I'm proud of Cadillac's committment to motorsports as a way of promoting their product; I was even happy when the ran the LMP-900 prototype...Even though it wasn't that successful, GM racing got useful experience and it put out Cadillac's name...
Cadillac has had one of the quickest top-to-bottom turnarounds I've seen from a car division...Dare I say; Caddy is cool again...They went for a joke associated with senior citizens to a SERIOUS contender with BMW, and I can only see things getting better...
