CTS-V to be sold in UK

Cadillac’s monster Corvette-engined CTS-V will be available to UK buyers, although the sub-£50k saloon will only be available on an individual-order basis and only in left-hand drive. Even though the car looks unlikely to get an official launch in the UK — partly due to limited European supplies — customers eyeing the 395bhp 5.7-litre V8 (right) super-saloon can order one through Cadillac’s slowly expanding dealer network.

Good move. They should make the whole lineup (including V's) available there. This should further establish them as a world-class luxury and performance brand.

Not really a good idea to expand unless they introduce right-hand drive models.

I saw on the season opener of the UK's Top Gear that they will be having a test of the CTS-V sometime this season. Should be interesting, given their historical hatred of all things American.

Somehow, I think they may have actually stumbled across that bit of trivia about Europe.

Or was that a joke

They are going to do RHD models for the Aus market.

As for Top-Gear, they loved the GTO..hated the 300c.

A steering wheel on the wrong side?

Available on an "individual-order basis?"

If GM wanted to send the message that Cadillac isn't serious about the United Kingdom......MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
