That part is still unclear. So far I haven't seen any evidence of a CTSv Coupe in the works. I would imagine it's been/being considered though.

Just going by nothing more than what PacerX used to call "Spidey Sense", I'd say a CTSv coupe is pretty likely if not a near certanty.

The CTS coupe is going to be Cadillac's "sporty car", so it would seem almost unavoidable (let alone, almost cost free) to put the V package that's on the sedan on the 2 door coupe.

Isn't the XLR kind of a CTS coupe?

Honestly I haven't paid much attention to either car, but I remember the XLR as being a stylistically similar vehicle with 2 doors.

The XLR is a Corvette disguised as a Cadillac.

I think I'd rather have a CTS-V coupe with a retractable hard top than a XLR. When is the XLR getting a MCE?

the XLR is a 2 seat roadster costing 100g... a bit different than a 4 seat coupe costing somewhere in the 30g range

I love the CTS as it is with 4 doors. As a 2 door... oh man.

2009 you say? That sounds good.

On another note, it sucks that GM had to wait so long to bring out the Camaro, as I've now kind of changed my mind on what I want in a car. Lucky for GM though, the CTS is exactly what I had in mind.

just some input on what i think about how the styling should be

i think the G35/G37 is a good example in that the coupe, at least in the rear, is substantially differentiated from the sedan... while i dont think that they should copy the look with the CTS coupe, i think they should make it a little less sedan like in the rear

If they don't change the rear roof line, it won't be a coupe just because it has 2 doors. It would just be a 2 door sedan.
