What if it isn't the Camaro, but another car instead?

What about a "closer-to-production" version of the SS concept?

What about a new concept for the already reported future large wheelbase RWD sedan/coupe?

Not every concept that Chevrolet designs has to be a "CAMARO". Remember what happened when we got a glimpse of a new Chevy in the corner of another picture? Everyone speculated that it was perhaps the next Camaro. Remember? It ended up being a new Chevy alright... the Cobalt.

Chevrolet does have other new cars coming down the pipe. Camaro isn't the only thing they're working on.

However, my point still needs to be heard. Not every concept coming out of the GM styling studios is going to be a Camaro.

Am I reading too much into rumors but what you described that might be there might be a BelAir concept? Or a Chevy sports coupe concept with Camaro styling cues but not Camaro?

 

Already discussed elsewhere. Camaro isn't the only RWD product in GM's future.

 

ok so it isnt a camaro. it is a lincoln with what looks like suicide doors and a v8 with rear wheel drive. i think its a pretty cool new continental

 

damn straight it is.

 

A new Camaro does need more things to survive in todays market. These people on here wanting a roll up window, no A/C bare bones new Camaro are very, very few and to make a new Camaro based on there idea of what a new Camaro should be would be crazy. A new Camaro besides being a awesome performer will need alot more to make it otherwise the 5th will be the shortest generation of the Camaro ever.

A few ideas

-Has anyone else seen the drawing in the background that looks like a 1st generation. It looks like it's in some book.

-How sure are we that the model is actually a Lincoln concept. I don't see any Lincoln in it what so ever.

-Where was this photo taken, do we have any really firm idea about it. It seems that everyone on GMI isn't totally sold on it not being something to do with Camaro. We need RP to drop a clue or give us confirmation on it not being anything realted to Gen F

 

i zoomed in on the picture and its of a 60s model lincoln cont. nothing related to the camaro.

IMO some of you guys are looking WAY too far into things. i can see it now, "look a car with 2 doors and 4 wheels! its a new camaro!!!11!!! o wait no never mind. its the new civic."

 

I agree with you man.

But for those of you that don't know...the Camaro plans have been 100% scrapped indefinatly. The "2007" release date isn't going to happen. All sketches etc you see online will remain that...a dream

GM is way to deep into debt right now ...maybe in a couple years
