SPC is Statisistical Process Control, a means of conveying quality requirements, and GD&T is Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, a means of more tightly defining dimensions on a drawing, especially in relation to critical points and where parts mate with other parts.

As a Colorado owner with a little over 1000 miles in two weeks I just had to throw my two cents in. First, I really like this truck. The I5 engine has plenty of power and the ride is much better than the Isuzu Rodeo I traded in. I got the Crew Cab Z71 and the bed is perfect for what I need a truck for. The instrument panel is nicely done and the controls are easy to reach.

Things I would suggest Chevy change:

1-PacerX is right about the back of the seats... horrible! Especially when you have little one sitting in car seats that constantly hit that area with their shoes.

2-Also as PacerX mentioned, how about an armrest for the backseat. And adjustable headrest for both front and back seats. I have childseat saftey latches but I be d@mned if I can figure out how to use the correctly. The headrest really gets in the way.

3-A rear seat that slides a little front to back would be nice.

4-Power rear window would be a cool feature (like the Sport Trac).

5-I'd really like to see 16" wheels instead of the 15's.

As for the fit & finish... well I paid a little under 23K for mine and don't expect 50K quality. I think all the panels line up quite well, I even had a buddy that remarked on how well the doors shut (he drives a *** SUV). To summarize, I think the Colorado/Canyon looks and drives great but could use some fine tuning in the interior department.
