Colorado SS ????

On my way to work today I saw sitting out in front of the dealer was a black Colorado and it had SS emblems on it that looked close if not exactly like the Silverado SS emblems. From what I could tell from just driving by was that it sat lower and had bigger wheels and low profile tires. I didn't have time to stop, but I will check it out closer tomorrow. I double checked the Chevy website and it didn't have anything there about a Colorado SS???

Just the other day I saw Cadillac SScalade. Yup, that's right. It has SS emblem in the middle of the Caddy emblem.

Don't pay any attention to such things. Most likely this dealer package does not go beyond the SS sticker.

You can be sure that if a dealer did this, it has no power upgrades. Although he'd no doubt try to tell you otherwise in order to justify the extra $3k he's probably asking for his sticker package.

Colorado SS may be coming soon from Chevy.

It'll probably have a 300 hp turbo I5, sport seats and bigger wheels...and sell for $30K.

What you saw was not one of those.

That would be one hot little truck.

Colorados are nice. I got a chance to give one a good looking over the other day and they outclass the old S-10 in so many ways, its not even funny.

I'm hoping for that turbo I-5 Colorado SS. I'm buyin a Colorado and definitely would want to own one of those.....those trucks have potential to run pretty quick, they're not all that heavy.

A Colorado SS would be an awsome truck with the I5 and a power adder.

For what it's worth, here's a picture I took of a badged Colorado Xtreme at some auto show. Looks like GM decided to drop the Xtreme badge and just call it the Sport. The Intro wheels are really nice though and 300+ Hp from a truck that looks like this would be nice.

I hope the Colorado SS has optional AWD otherwise I'll be going with a Z71 in a year or so.

They have posted some pics. on the dealerwebsite Just search under Colorado and you will find it. Its a nice looking truck but its not new it has 1200+ miles on it according to the website. I think its a sport model and someone put SS badges on it.

I saw one of these in Houston the other day. I asked my friend about it and he said it wasn't factory. It looked nice though.

That turbo I-5 needs to be available in a Z71 4x4 ext cab model but I'm sure it'll be in a ZQ8 with 2wd.

I think it fits best in the "sporty" model. Why would you want that drivetrain in a truck intended for off road and utility?
