Re: Cobalt SS sedan pictures.

Looks good. Glad to see you can get an auto or manual, but were are those damn 6 speeds?

The mileage for the 2.4L is the same as the 2.2L More power same milage, you have to like that. But how does the heavier 2.4L Pontiac G6 get 34mpg and the lighter 2.2L Cobalt get 32mpg hwy

I still don't like how they used the SS badge when they have a faster SS available for the same car, but that's a moot point now. It'd be a good little car if you could get out the door under $20k.

The car just looks too "cute" in general...It should be meaner and more aggressive looking and those rims are not that great lookin'...And why must they put an SS badge on everything

I dont understand the use of the ss badge on this car at all. Whats the point in it? The only thing it has over the standard cobalt is it has a little more power. I defintely would not spend that premium for that. Now the coupe ss is a dirrent story.

Talk about sleepers!

You barely even notice the SS badges on a silver car.

That's for effect, to make it look like the car is moving faster.

Nice enough, but I agree its behind the Mazda3.

From the side, I got a VW Jetta vibe (in a good way) for some reason.

Besides the crooked SS badge and horrendously ugly wheels
I wouldn't mind driving that. Would I buy it? No, I'm not really into compacts, but it is a very nice car. I'll also bet that you can't find one with a manual tranny anywhere. I was at the Chevy dealer yesterday to pick up some parts and looked at the Cobalts. They had 6 coupes, all autos. about 15 sedans, 2 with a 5 speed.

Re: Cobalt SS sedan pictures.

i dont think it should have SS badging at all , i dont think cars like that should have SS badging at all

they coulda made it somthing like "LT" "LS" or Z** (like z24) or somthing like that but not SS
thats just my opinion

overall i think its an ugly car and the reall SS looks a whole lot better ,
