Cobalt SS question

How much is the Cobalt SS gonna cost? If it is low enough I may consider it for the first new car I buy.

Re: Cobalt SS question

Didn't realize they'd finally updated with pricing. That's better than I expected. Even with every option - sunfroof, XM, side airbags, OnStar it would only be $24,135.00.

Re: Cobalt SS question

IIRC I thought Gm had a promotion where i fyou order it online now they throw in the XM and the sunroof for free.. I remember getting a brochure with that but I can't recollect.. might want to look on the web and see if there is more info.

Also check out www.cobaltss.net there may be some info there that can help you out.

I don't know if that program is still going on, but keeping in line with GMs pricing/marketing strategy, Cobalts currently have a $750 rebate too.

So really the Cobalt SS is $21,245

Re: Cobalt SS question

You had to place your order by 10/15/04 to take advantage of that promotion.

It was kind of stupid since GM didn't really let anyone know about it.

Re: Cobalt SS question

Yeah thats true. GM should have put something in thoes hilarous Cobalt/C6 ads about it. They have no problem parading there tons of rebates, but nothing about giving away free stuff.

Re: Cobalt SS question

While i was over at the cobalt forums, it seems like the s/c cobalts are dynoing 210whp/190tq I guess with a raised redline to 7000 and a computer tune the Sema Cobalt made 270hp. I think these s/c 2.0 is going to be a little bit better than i thought

Re: Cobalt SS question

Not sure about anyone else's dyno, but the SC Cobalt WILL put out more than it's advertized power.

Remember I said that.
