Chrysler Airflite, was I the only one who missed this?

I was just doing some looking around on the net and found the Chrysler Airflite. I think this car looks good. I like the new Magnum, the 300 still needs time, but I think these cars would look much better if they had the Chrysler cab forward. BTW, is there any plans for a replacement for the Concord other then the 300?

Chrysler Concorde??! You have missed alot. Concorde hasn't been around since the LH restyle over 5 years ago!

The Airflite concept, although based on the new LX RWD chassis, will likely be theme for the next FWD mid sized Chrysler.

In case you missed it, the AWD Dodge Avenger concept will form the basis of the Dodge's version of the new FWD sedan.

Um, yes it has. Here's the 2004:

Chrysler dropped the LHS, not Concorde, and gave the Concorde the former LHS nose. Concorde never went away - though I have to say they are few and far between around here, so they must not be super popular.

Correct. I was thinking the LHS.

Right again on them not being popular next to the 300M.

I can see the Dodge Avenger on the new FWD sedan, but wasn't the Airflite based off the Crossfire? That just doesn't make sense to me, but what do I know.

If I remember right, the Airflite was based on a shortened version of the Magnum/300 rear wheel drive platform.
