Chevy's new GM....what's his story?

When Kurt Ritter got his "promotion" to Buick/Pontiac/GMC early this year, ( a "promotion" that was so appreciated, that he left the company shortly thereafter), the new Chevy general manager became Brent Dewar.

I have not been able to find one press release that mentions Mr Dewar in over 6 months. What's his story? What's he doing? Is he our friend or a soul- less corporate bureaucrat?

Anyone know?

I know he has done interviews. I also know that in one he was asked about the new Mustang and he said something to the effect of they better enjoy it while they have it because we don't intend to be out of that market for very long. You may want to search my posts here because I may have posted the article.

Yeah, that's what I mean....that interview is almost 7 months old.

Ritter always seemed to be pushing for Chevy, this new guy seems invisible.

Maybe he's too busy trying to get things done instead of talking about them.

The daily routine of a Divisional General Manager is hectic to say the least. Chevy is launching more new products than ever....and there's more to come. Additionally, the marketing direction will be changing........

So...Brent has thrown himself headfirst into running Chevy....and planning for the future....... I think you might be surprised at what you see over the next few years.
