just like last year
smart move but why...why in the world would you advertise that hideous creation that is called the uplander?
that thing has got to be the worst new product their releasing next to the hhr
just a waste of money imo, that thing might give a worse image of chevy than if it hadnt made a commercial for it

Lol, they can advertise all they want but they can thanks their sales to rebates galore. So i think 2005 we will see even more. Unless GM does something right.

Here's what strikes me from that article:
"GM spent $1.2 billion on ads in the first half of 2004."
Damn!

Actualy, every single review of the Uplander, or other CSV have been surprisingly upbeat and positive.
I think that the Uplander and CSV crew is a better buy then the Dodge or Ford vans, especialy in interior quality.
Everyone has massive incentives on there minivans, because no one wants to buy a minivan.

I'm getting tired of the current GM commercials now...

"red tag sale! just pay whatever the tag says, and thats it!"

give me a freaking break.

Must be some type of new concept with GM.

Why couldn't thay have discovered this idea (especially since their Saturn division has been doing it for 15 friggin years) last February when I was ready to buy a new GTO?!

Re: Chevy will "unleash" new year's eve marketing.

We just got our first 2 SV6 Montanas recently. The interior in them is even nicer than the G6, frankly. The quality of materials is EXCELLENT, the IP and radio have an upscale appearnace to them, and the price is very reasonable. $27,500 gets you one with power everything, cloth seats and chrome 17" wheels. About all thats missing is a DVD player, leather, AWD and On-Star.

The previous Montanas were a rip off compared to Dodge, and needed the rebates. These new models are nicer and cheaper...a good combination. I think they may actually sell well.
