i think what kills it is the wing and ground effects.. take those off and i think it looks pretty cool for a little compact car

It will influence the next all new Cobalt. But it will likely not be a hatch but a sedan. US buyers seem to preffer the sedan bodies vs the 5 door hatches.

I think the design concept has potential....if they tone it down. Right now it looks like a cartoon, or one of the infamous "angry kitchen appliances" that Maximum Box referred to when he started at GM.

I wouldn't competely remove the wing and ground effects, just tone them down, which is always what happens by production time.

All in all I think it's a cool lookin little car.

Aside from toning down the wing, I think it looks great. Wouldn't change a thing other than the wing.

I'd expect to see it's influence on whatever replaces the Aveo 1st. Cobalt is due for a refreshening for 2008 (yes, already) which should carry it 2010 or 2011MY. Aveo should be due for a new body in '09MY.
