but not ugly like the Toyota. I'd love to see a similar product replace the HHR.

Well, the rumor has been that the Groove or Trax could replace the Aveo in the U.S. market. That would be pretty close. I think the Urban Cruiser is little smallish for an HHR replacement. I'd rather see the Groove or Trax replace the Aveo and then have them offer a Cruze wagon to replace HHR (though I think HHR is due for replacement?)

With CAFE requirements increasing, I can't see GM making a decision to put AWD in cars this small...
I'm sure there would be a small percentage of the buyers that would want the option, but once the current Vibe runs it's course, I doubt we'll see something that small with AWD from GM again.

The Trax concept was AWD, but I haven't heard anything as far as a production car. It was an electric AWD system. Here's the info from the Chevy release on the showcar:
"To make sure the Trax performs like a SUV, the design team combined front wheel drive with an entirely new all-wheel drive (AWD) system. An electric limited-slip differential features an independent battery pack and electric motor to drive the real wheels. The result is AWD handling and performance at a far lower cost. All driven by a strong 1-litre diesel engine to give the Trax plenty of power without high emissions or fuel costs."
Highly doubt we'd get the diesel nor AWD that complex....
