While more cars are a good thing, one has to wonder how many models a Chevy Dealer can effectivly sell. In 2006-7 a Chevy dealer may have these vehicles...

Toyota I always thought of as the largest brand...but I think Chevy would have them easily beat. Is this good or bad in your opinion?

 

I think the truck/suv side of the things is fine, but lets look at the cars.

I see Cobalt=Malibu=Aveo

I see Impala=Monte=Caprice

I see HHR=Nomad=El Camino

Sure my list may not include cars that have the same number of doors or engine sizes. But I do see alot of the same vehicle up there.

Oh, and what is the "Lamda somthing"

 

Cobalt != Malibu != Aveo

Malibu's is a solid midsized sedan.. competing against the likes of Camry or accord.


Cobalt's like a Civic.


Aveo is more like a Kia. inexpensive entry car.

 

To me all 3 are an "inexpensive entry car"

 

It's even worse up here. We got two additional Korean tinboxes to go with the Aveo: the Chevy Optra and the Chevy Epica.

 

I think that is a good solid Chevy lineup that we haven't seen in years. Chevy really needs to get back into the full-size car business.

And don't forget about Corvette/Z06/Blue Devil

 

except the price difference between a Malibu and an Aveo is about $10,000? and the size and quality difference......


Thats almost like saying a Corvette and the Camaro are the same car too...

 

It's not so much, how much product.....it should be how good the product is.

Yes, I have no idea what is up with that. I see them on the road, and they look just like next Hyundai or Kia. Why bother importing them here as Chevy? Just keep them as Daewoo, problem solved.

Unless, of course, it's part of some agreement between GM and Daewoo, when GM acquired it.

 

I think if Chevy has that lineup it will be a HUGE year for Chevy and hopefully one of the best yet.
