I live up here in Minnesota, does anyone have any time frame on when the new Chevy Colorados are coming?

I have a lease ending soon and need to replace it!

I'm thinking that I read on this board that production will start in December, so, late December/early January?

First quarter of '04. I'm a full line GM dealer, and we have yet to start ordering. Soon for orders, expect early '04 for deliveries.

 

The plant where the Colorado and Canyon (Shreveport, LA) has started production on October 8th.
They've built 2,422 Colorados so far and 632 Canyons.
GM brass held all production for quality inspections until October 29th, when the vehicles began to trickle out of the factory.
Dealerships closer to the plant will be the first to receive the vehicles.

Dealerships are taking orders now. If a dealer tells you he cannot order one yet, find another dealer. Several people have already gotten their Target Production Week (TPW) for their twin. And some of the earlier orderers are expecting their trucks sometime this month.

I hear that the sliding rear window is on contraint right now.

I also hear that shipment is slow right now due to lack of railcars, but I don't know if I believe that.
