That car looks surprised.
"Oooh, splendid!" |
#1 Keep those aggressive good look.
#2 Keep the price low #3 Fuel economy must be best or damn near best in class. 26/35mpg isn't going to cut it. I'd love to see something like this get 35/45mpg, Prius mileage in a better looking package for 60% the price. This could be GMs mini cooper or smart car. (success wise) |

Not really feeling the design (at all) BUT this IS something GM needs in the US... LIKE RIGHT NOW!

A 3rd generation Metro...how quaint!

i'd drive it. especially if it had a manual.

It would make for a nice Aveo replacement.

Bingo. Don't dilute it, and you'll sell 5x more in Southern California than you will in Europe. Don't blow this one, GM.

Besides, the Metro was a Suzuki. Too bad they killed it just before the gas prices. But I think for anything close to 30 in the city, you need a new G series motor(suzuki). Honda has IMA , integrated motor assist, basically an electric motor in the engine connected to the crankshaft, turn it on when you need extra oomph for like, serious low rpm cruising or WOT acceleration. Their ECA1 was a 3cyl with IMA, it powered the Insight(first Civic Hybrid). Thing is a marvel, it is very close to the Prius. |
