What happened to cheersandgears.com?

 

I am able to get to them just fine....

Was able to this morning, and just tried it again....

 

Your saying you can get there ok? I tried at home and work.

 

You are probably like me. After their front page got hacked there was some IP blacklisting going on. From work I cannot access their site but at home I can get to it just fine.

Wish the ban would be lifted though, I miss out on the good stuff during lunch without being able to go there

 

Oh yeah. So how did they determine what IP's to reject?

I dunno lol. All I know is I cant get to it from work. Maybe its a conspiracy to try to improve my work effieciency?

 

What happened was a hacker from Vietnam was using an IP address that many use. We did a "wildcard" ban on the IP. Basically (just as an example) 27.7.132.* That * in there, banned every IP that shares those numbers.

It has affacted many more people than we had wanted it to. Walt needs to call into the hosting company to have the IP ban lifted. Hopefully he does it soon, because this is killing me.
