Woah, some "official" information about it coming back? Hopefully it'll be here for the 40th Anniversary.

You will not get any "official" information on Chevy's ne RWD coupe, so don't expect this.

.......now, having said that, it can be also said that this RWD coupe has moved to a level where quite a few people are privy to the car, it's design, and other info on it. That's a good sign.

When a vehicle moves to a position where suppliers have to bid on components of the car, or has begun developing subassemblies of the car for evaluation by the customer company, not only have many people seen the car, the car has moved into a phase that all but ensures it's going to be produced.

So basically it will be that the Camaro has passed a rung in the approval process? As far as details on the car, I know we have known the basic outline of the car since September...so every time I see something touting a huge story I kinda just wonder...because it is actually getting late in the game to change things

Crappy thing is GM seems to start head hunts after every article like this to see who is leaking info...thats why I have been quiet as of late.

Good stuff. Still be interesting to see what they have to say. But I agree, how could they know something we dont?

One thing I had forgot to memntion though is that they actually developed more than one front end for the new "sporty coupe"...a retro one, and a fasts sleek one. They decided to only go with one...and they cliniced them both. I wonder which one got the final go?

LoL, we sure are full of ourselves.

Lot of clueless people over there, I’m almost tempted to kill their story with what we know, but I’ll be nice.

And I'm willing to bet there were a lot more than just those 2.... not excluding the SS concept front clip, which was obviously early 2nd Gen retro.....

Thing is we can't say anything.

Once other people come out, and it's obvious our contacts are no longer in a position to be compromised, we're free to add to the conversation because of the volume of people who knows increases greatly!

I too have been itching to say things for some time and have quite a bit of info, but until someone does it 1st, or says something I can safely add too, gotta sit on it.

If someone else wants to do a huge story using, since this is just a hobby to me and I really don't have a financial or egotistical intrest, I say let em. At the end of the day, I'll still have contacts that trust me. Will they?

To all here, FWIW, the Ste Therese story will be back later.

Holy hell where did all this come from?!

I can't wait for this...

Also, is Cheers and Gears a better place for future car info than here? I've always thought of this forum as the best, but a lot of times I hear of stuff coming from there first... I made an account there a while ago, but never use it... maybe I should start...
