Too dark to see any detail on the nose. I still don't like the "Grand Am coupe" shape of the body though.

That at least looks like a GTO to me. I am glad Pontiac brought back the car but the current model just doesn't say GTO to me.

My firsr car was a '67 and I would love to have another someay but the current styling doesn't like up to the nameplate.

Still a great car, just not GOAT worthy.

for the love of god....just dont even bother bringing up the GTO anymore. i can only hear "i dont like the grand am styling" so many times before i just want to kill someone..

that "concept" is the current gto with a '69 front tacked on...the front and back dont match at all...If GM wanted to bring back the 69 gto that is what they would have done, but they made the 2004 gto...yes it could look better but just shut up...all the bitching in the world is not going to change GM (Holden)'s car until maybe it gets redesigned later down the road

That is funny. It actually took me a few seconds to realize which is which.

Ditto.

That's a very cool concept, but just doesn't look like it belongs in the 21st century. I think Chevy's full size trucks proved you can't just hack a different styling theme onto a vehicle.

I'll second both statements above.

Interesting concept, but the front is just too outdated, even though it has some current cues, to make the car look good.

The original GTO was what it was and the new is what it is. People should not keep comparing, or combining, them too much. The only thing they share is the name.

Just like any other current vehicle which has roots in the past. You don't see people pasting Stingray fronts or split windows on the C5's or C6's, do you?

Exactomundo. I thought it was just me...but every GTO concept I have seen with the old front end on it looks downright goofy. It does not look modern, it does not flow with the rest of the body (that body being of the Monaro or completely different, doesn't matter.) Instead of forcing 1968 design cues on an otherwise modern car I'd like to see something that flows.

Just like all your bitching isn't going to keep people from saying I DON'T LIKE THE GRAND AM STYLING!!!

Welcome to America. People can say their opinions out loud here last I checked

Wow, that's messed up. I really didn't know which was which at 1st. The GTO needs a restyle already. Retro looking concepts like the 1st link will never work because it just doesn't look right.

Those hood scoops on the other car would be great on the 5th Gen though, as they look something like the Third Gen Z28/IROC-Z hoods.

Gee golly... the GTO looks tamer than the GTP. What in the world is Pontiac thinking? The 2004 GTO looks as tame as.... THE ORIGINAL GTO!!!!
