Re: Check out this 300C convertible!
The boot is a dummy and there is no ragtop for it. Instead, the boot comes up and underneath it are several amps. It's a stereo on wheels unfortunately. It was among many of the audio/video companies at SEMA.
There was, however, a BEAUTIFUL 300C vert at the show, outside, I believe. Really nicely done, but I don't know if that one had a working top either. Lots of smoke and mirrors at SEMA (I should know...I took my car this year and it was only about 85% finished.)

My Pro-Touring '71 Chevelle. Here are some pics.

Sorry about the blurryness. The lighting in the convention center and my digital camera didn't get along.
It's got a 427 big block with a ProCharger D1SC. Like I said, the car is about 80-85% right now. Things still left include wiring, a bit more interior work, re-routing our supercharger piping and installing an intercooler, the front end still needs to come down about 1.5 inches, and a few other small details. The car will hopefully be pushing 850-900hp when all is said and done.
The paint scheme, interior, and wheels are all my design. The wheels were cut by Billet Specialties.
Hope you like the pics!
