Yuck.
Dodge should be F&*KING Ashamed that they put the Charger name on that 2 ton turd.
This is the type of stuff that scares me to death when thinking baout the 5th gen (If it ever happens). If GM makes a new Camaro, and its, A. Ugly, B. Overwieght, C. Underpowered, and D. A 4 door, Baby Boomer **** box they can kiss my #$%^& Cause I will not spend another dollar at their dealerships.

2. What makes it a "turd"?
3. The Charger isn't overweight (compare it to other IRS RWD cars that size
)4. The Charger by any measure is NOT underpowered!

5. Comparing the Camaro to the Charger is like comparing an apple to a cantalope. One is a sports car, & the other was a sporty family coupe.
I'm not a fan of the front end but overall I'd say the car looks OK. Not 300C-stopping-traffic spectatular, but no where near Aztec ugly either.
Also, large doses of horsepower erases bland looks in cars the same way for women money compensates for old age in men.

Oh yeah, I missed that one.
You know, it's not pretty, but if those pictures were the first exposure that I had to the Charger, I think I'd feel better about it. At any rate, I'm over the name and 4 door thing.....if it only looked alittle better and had a manual trans.....I'd give it a serious look.

That Hyundai pic really fit in that thread like a glove.
Someone mentioned the Magnum on page two...what about the Magnum on page 1? Oh yeah, the non-stationwagon models will be called 'Charger'.
Thats my main complaint about it. Reminds me of the long awaited return of the GTO, and came with the body of an existing Grand Am body style
At times like this I doubt I'll buy another domestic ever again, and I've always hated imports.

GM enthusiasts had more of a problem with a coupe (with available manual trans), that looks like a modern Pontiac......called GTO...... because it didn't have fake hoodscoops, and didn't look like a '68 GTO.
The Mopar guys, on the other hand.....seem to have embraced a rather bizarre looking sedan, without a stick option, called Charger, Charger R/T and Charger Daytona.
