Charger and Enforcer where to be shown at New York!

It seems that when people find out prior that certain vehicals are to be shown, DC changes their mind. Apparently, the Charger and Enforcer were to be shown at New York this last April. In fact, both cars were actually there, but never taken off the trailer! While the Quad SRT-10 Ram|Power Wagon where to be shown at Chicago. Lets just hope that DC doesn't decide to change its mind again and not show the Charger at Detroit.

I think they did that becuase the Mustang and Vette were getting all the attention. They would be wise to unveil it at the proper time.

Re: Charger and Enforcer where to be shown at New York!

I knew that the Charger was ready to be shown, and was cancelled at the last minute, but I didn't know they actually took the car there.

I was under the impression they kept it for more work, or that Daimler once again dilly-dallied with Chrysler's future product. I still think the primary reason was design refinements. However, seeing 1st hand how last minute changes, cancelleations, and additions were done at the L.A Auto Show last season, anythings possible.

Chrysler shows new cars typically a year to a year and a half before they begin production, which is why is was a complete shock to the press and everyone who keeps track of this type of stuff when Chrysler announced back in April that the Charger would be going into production less than a year later.

Re: Charger and Enforcer where to be shown at New York!

I heard Mazda was going to produce the Mazda 6 Mazdaspeed with AWD and 280 hp turbo'd motor. This might supposedly be the basis of the SVT Fusion. I had predicted a long time ago on this one and even mention 280 hp. Time with tell if SVT uses the same setup as the Mazda.
