The question is, though, why did he substitute WRX engine for LS1?

Edit: as it turns out, he only purchased a Camaro funny car shell, built his own frame and used Corvette suspension components.

No skidpad or quarter mile numbers provided, though. But with the weight of 2775 lbs, that car should do some low 13's or even high 12's with Subaru 300 HP turbo engine.

This was posted a couple times 3 or 4 months ago. My problem is that it would suck as a boat because it has a flat hull. It would be unstable and hard to cut turns with
