This is interesting. I would think there would be more profit in a $25k 6.0L low luxury Camaro than a $25k high luxury 5.3L, since the engine cost is relatively the same for either engine. However, GM hasn't been known to produce this type of vehicle. See my new poll .

In case I liked the styling of the 5th Gen and had the money for the $30K 6.0L high luxyry car, I'd probably take that. However, if I did not have the $$$, I'd just have to take which ever I could afford. ***shrug***

Maybe not the base V6, though, since that would get me into a nice used vehicle, too.

I already know what I want, and will be buying it if they acctually build a new camaro. A Z/28 assuming thats top model with the biggest most powerful motor they have, with the least amouint of high tech gizmo's I can get. Only thing I want is a hardtop, and maybe leather seats would be nice, but thats it

I didn't intend for the poll answers to reflect specific content. Think of "low luxury" as the basics - all the stuff you would need and "high luxury" as the stuff that you don't necessarily need. This may vary from person to person, so you can define it as you like.

 

A hardtop six speed 5.3L would do me just great! While I wouldn't mind the higher hp 6.0-----price is a contrasint. Still, I wouldn't feel bad for one second for buying a 5.3L Camaro

 

Dude all crap, cmon..there is still no eveidence the camaro is coming back. Speculate til the cows come home, but when they 2+2coupe comes out named chevelle. We will be even more pis$sed than when the camaro left, why ?because we all think it is coming back. I hope it does but show me don't tell me. Thats how IRAQ happened.
