Ditto. The body kit looked cool back in 1997, but it looks doofy with the post-1998 headlamps.

The nose needs to go as well as the "fins". I like the rest of the car, and I think the rearend looks pretty good. If GM would make something like that - something more edgey with more distinct lines and market the **** out of it I think they'd have something.

The nose is Paula Jones but the *** is J-Lo

Also, don't forget about the 100+ HP and TQ, that thing has to look great when rocketing off the line in real life.

 

Don't forget the article says that you can order one up minus the body package....if you wanna spend 15 grand over what you paid for your '02 that is.

 

15 grand more sounds to me like a built stroked bored blown monster Z28.... not this thing

 

Not to ruin the party, but we are talking about $72,000 for a Camaro!

I'm not a rocket scientist, but I think I can make a 4 second-to-60 mph Camaro for alot less than $40,000+!!

 

Sounds like a Camaro man!! I wish I had something like that as my daily driver!

 

That thing looks just looks ridiculous.

 

Let's be honest, NO Camaro is worth $72,000 except perhaps an original 1st Gen COPO car or Jon Moss' 4th Gen ZL1. This is just like any other tuner car, the well-off fans of the car have to have it, just to say they have it. Same with Lingenfelter's overpriced-for-what-you-get engine packages, or for that matter Saleen's $40,000 Mustang GT with a body kit.

 

The nose looks like that Jaguar coupe....but much worse.(the Jag looks good). Speaking of Lingenfelter, I hope he recovers. If any of you guys didnt know, he almost died in a crash recently... broken neck and other bad injuries. I think theres an update page on www.nhra.com
