Camaro Legends Tour

Just out of curiosity... has the Camaro Legends Tour continued to make appearances, even after the end of the 4th Gen?

The 3rd Gen one-off on the www.camaroz28.com home page reminded me of when I caught it and the rest of the tour in Pittsburgh.

Well, that makes sense I guess... I wondered if it still traveled the show circuit though...

It would be very cool if the big Camaro semi-trailer from the tour showed up in the next Chevy commercial! It could pull up next to the car carrier from the last commercial and a hot chick driver could shoot a wink over at the car carrier driver!!

I think car gatherings are cool after a 5 yr spell of not owning a fast car make more ideas on how to better your car.

Unfortunately, we had to take the Camaro Legends Tour off the road in December of 2002........once we stopped building Camaros, were was not a Camaro Budget in which to fund the tour. (tours are not a cheap date...but well worth the money in my opinion....)

Gone for now....but not forever!

As an aside...I sure hope those of you who got to see the tour enjoyed it...and I know many of you were able to use the "Legends Tour Certificate" to buy a new Camaro.....

my favorate part of the Legends tour is the Promo Models. Which I do believe is Scotts personal collection. He might have one more to add to it in Aug.

(HINT SCOTT DONT BUY ONE OF THAT YEAR LOL )

What promotional models are you guys talking about. I saw the legends tour in Atlanta and am not familiar with what you are talking about.

I dont know if they made every show. But they were in a display case. That sat outside. Had almost every Promo Model (plastic Models) made for the camaro ( I do beleive they stopped making them in 74 to 81 started back up in 82 then ran until 98) Some of the cars were missing because someone (looks over at Red planet) had not had a chance to get their hands on them. (Got one waiting here for him when & Only WHEN he shows up in here for our car show in AUG ( ))
