Interesting. Obviously this is not headed for production anytime soon. It is like a Cadillac version of the Smart forFour in the year 2030.

It reminds me of a Toyota Prius on steroids.

I kinda like it. I wouldn't buy it, but think it looks pretty neat for a small car. Way better than a Smart or Nano. I like it better than the Fiesta, which I also think is a good looking car.

Edit: sorry for the HUGE picture sizes...they aren't this big when viewed on Autoblog
Double edit: apparently the board doesn't resize in preview mode

It's sort of neat in a way. I understand why a lot of people don't like it. But there are a lot of uglier cars out there.

The one thing it has going for it is that it is very different from what is out there, so it would definitely stand out. The Aston Martin city car, for example, is hardly any different from the Mini it is based on when it viewed from a few feet away. Unique is a pretty important asset for a hybrid since most of the buyers get them for the look at me I am saving the world factor.

I don't know if the American market at large is really ready for premium small cars though. You might find a small market for something like this in the more well to do buyers of the Prius.

I think the Aston Martin is based on the Toyota iQ or whatever it is called, not the Mini Cooper.

Yes you are right. I don't know why I put Mini since it looks nothing like a Mini and everything like an iQ

You know, now that I've seen a bunch of pictures of it, I think it's kind of neat. Not as a Cadillac though.

It would make a nice uplevel trim package for the Aveo.

Its like the designers spent 99% of their time working on the doors forward then someone was like "**** we gotta get this thing ready in six hours."

Perhaps. The rear does make me think of the Soul... but on the other hand when you compare it to something like a Merc A-Class:

I think I would rather have the Cadillac.

The Aveo would be an upgrade from this thing!

Just as I thought, a Cadillac golf cart.

I'm pretty sure this think is smaller than an Aveo...

Think Spark sized.
