From what I've seen and read from insiders over at Corvetteforum, that may be pretty darn close.

Like Z28Wilson said... this is probably the 'best guess' as to what C6 will look like...
It's a shame too, because it just doesn't say "Corvette" to me... at least not the front. (And of course, the front is the part we know the least about...)

Yeah, at the very least it needs a split grille...that pic looks like my wifes old '96 Cavalier. And I'm still not happy about the rumored fixed headlights, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker obviously.

I SERIOUSLY doubt GM will fumble the ball on this car lookswise. Remember, there's a huge amount of pride with everyone involved with the car, from Dave Hill to the line workers in Bowling Green. I've been saying for awhile that if only GM could transfer some of that pride and dedication to other cars in their line (Cavalier) they could make Toyota go out of business overnight!

That picture can't be accurate. Where's Chevy's crossbar theme? They gotta put that on
!
Actually, the nose appears quite elongated and those lights remind me of a Viper's. I'm sure the actual version will look a lot better. I can't wait to see what the final version will actually look like and how it will perform.

Help keep the costs down whilst using the available development funds to give us a higher quality c5 with better fit, finish and materials, better fuel economy, more power and a little less weight. The only thing ths pisses me off is the fact that there won't be a hardtop in the current Z06 style. Instead the hardtop will look like a fixed roof version of the coupe which I think looks quite a bit less attractive the the Z06 style 'notch'.

Wonder if the C6 FRC Z06 means no removeable top or that plus a short rear window/no hatch like on the C5.
the c5 FRC was supposed to be what the Z06 became...they thought weight reduction would make it desireable but it just was not w/o the Z06's upgrades.
But I've never liked the looks as well as the hatch cars. If the C6's weight is low enough in coupe form, perhaps rather than pay the expense of creating another hatchless FRC for the Z06 they will just use the base coupe w a fixed non-targa roof but retain the hatch and then we'll finally have a truly great looking Z06.
