I am more than disappointed... looks like the slide show headlamps were them...

I'm not sure if I like them either, I guess I'll just have to wait until the NAIAS

Do headlights make or break this car?

As silly as it sounds... it really can be for me... I think headlamps are a very defining feature on the looks of a car... and it's hard to buy a car that you do not think is attractive.

Maybe it will look better with all the cammo off, but it really really has a bad import-bug-eye look to me with those headlamps.

I'm willing to bet there is still some unseen camo on the front. Furthermore we’ve known for a while now that the C6 wouldn’t have pop-ups. I also don’t think it looks all that bad. I say give it till NAIAS to put in you final judgment. Or better yet wait till your local Chevy dealer gets some in. I’m still excited.

Gotta have a wait-and-see attitude. You know GM isn't going to butcher their most prized nameplate.

These spy shots also give a good look at the TigerShark grille up front (black car). Only a couple more months til all the pieces come together...

No kidding, this thing comes with a base 400hp and people complain about the headlights. Of course, i drive a car with a 2 foot tall spoiler.

The only one I could tell much about was the white car, and even then much of the headlamp still appeared to be covered. The first thing I noticed was that the bulbs/reflectors look extremely small. I'll wait to see one in person to form my opinion, but so far it looks as though the car will look best in black.

The exposed headlights really don't bother me.
But it looks like the rump is still a little too fat.

If it's going to look a lot like that pewter rendering, then it will be pretty sweet.

I have to be honest, early on I liked what I saw, but the more I see of the C6 the less I like it overall, just something in general about the spy shots make the car look goofy at most angles.

Hopefully when its completely finished it will look much better.

Thumbs up

I'm not very concerned about the headlights. They're easy to change and in fact if a lot of buyers don't like the stock shape I'm sure aftermarket units will spring up like weeds.

More importantly I am impressed with the 'angularity' of the overall styling. I'm very glad to see the Vette gravitating back towards the sharp-edged styles of the 60's StingRay.

I think it looks too much like the current car--it looks like a simple "freshen up" job rather than a new car. Also, if the lights are some really bright, long-throw projector beams, that would be great. Most American cars have weak headlights, including my SS.
