Great info. Thnk you for the Camaro link, it made me feel all warm and fuzzy. I think they're going to hit the nail on the head with the 5th gen. I hope I can afford another one by then, as I could never part with my SS.

17 posts?! Welcome to the site.

I think this site and this section is the best site to find out what's going on with new & future cars (since they killed the Camaro, what else are we going to talk about? ). Someone's always posting a link to news, we have resident automotive engineers, vendors, press from the US and Australia, people who keep up on things as a hobby, and a whole host of others here. It's also refreshingly free of the boneheads at other sites.

BTW, one of our long term & frequent residents here runs the GMInside news website, so it's been advertised & linked here quite alot.

BTW: on the Corvette timeline site, the 1st couple of pictures seems to be the XLR, the yellow Corvettes are a C6 (note the taillights close proximity to the top of the rear end on both cars) but its "B" pliiars are fake (painted on) and it's too far away to get excited about, and the rest of the pictures have been well circulated on the internet.

Easy now gents.

We have a kind soul here who was trying to help us out by passing along some information. Let's not take shots at him.

Welcome aboard!

Kind soul or someone looking for instant recognition? I don't mind repeated information, however would it hurt newbies to look past the first page before posting something?

Its almost as bad as the guy with "the Z28 is named after ..." thread.

Maybe we need a sticky at the top that lists the current "known" 5th gen rumors and myths.

I seem to have not checked of the box on the order sheet for my car that stated:

"Ability to see through to a man's soul."

Hrumph... Maybe I'll get that one on the next car.

More to the point... would it hurt the veterans to behave with a little common courtesy?

I'm not new to the site exactly. I have just been without internet for the whole summer and am just getting back to it. I tried to make sure that the info hadn't been posted. Just missed it thats all.
