Yes, they have been shipping for a few weeks now.

Several people have already taken delivery.

You can check dealer stock at www.chevy.com and click the LOCATE link.

eBay also has several listings.

Convertibles have not yet started regular production... I believe roughly a month or so to go for that...

Yeah, one of the local car shops, Carteck, just dyno'ed a C6. Its on LS1tech.com. Did pretty good, but Im sure with propper break in, we could see more power. I belive peak hp was 355 or something.

Yup. At least a couple of shops here in TX have been dynoing them, too.

Numbers haven't been too impressing, but they all have had very low miles, so I'm sure the numbers will get better once they get broken in better.

Re: Is the C6???

Well No C6 there today it hadnt arrived yet, They are expecting it *ANYDAY* .

So after I turned in the Application for the parts department. We went to talk to the owner of the place about car club stuff (car show & Discounts for our club). I guess I suprised poor Jamie when I told him I just applied for a job there. He did a double take.
Then we started talking about getting a newer/larger Truck *sorry scott We are going to go for a 1500 (dont want a 4door in a truck unless you cant tell its a 4door)* He introduced us to one of the Sales Managers & told him to treat us well.

I cant beleived we even thought of trading in our GTP.

Paitence is a virtue. Wait until next year for the 06's, they will have all the bugs ironed out, and you might be able to get a better deal than right now when the C6 is the hottest commodity at GM.

Are they making any convt. C6's yet, because I saw a black one when I was headed to the county fair. It pulled into Bob Evans, I went and looked at it and it was a convt C6. I was very impressed. Just wondering maybe it was a GM exc?
