C&D M5 and C6 info
Car and Driver got a close look at an M5 mule. Under the hood was confirmation that a V10 will power the next M5. It is thought to be 5.5L. No word on whether it will have 500 hp...but the tach had a redline of just under 8500 rpm.
Also....
Remember that photo of Gary Cowger at the press conference with the HHR pic in the background? At the same conference they showed a pic of the C6 front end. Yes, it has fixed headlights. They look like a cross between the SLK's and the old 3000GT's.

C6 headlamp
This was discussed over at corvetteforum.com. I'm of the opinion that it's the headlight but not C6...

That looks like a sketch behind Cowger in that pic. Look how impossibly close the wheel well is to the front end (or how skewed it is; either way is suggests sketch, not photo).
BTW, I saw an Vette sans camo the other day, although it was not production ready (some mismatched body color panels, etc). IMO, it looked AWESOME. I am so looking forward to NAIAS when they will show them in full production trim with proper paint, wheels, trim pieces, etc.
