Re: Buick and Zeta

"Zeta will debut with Pontiac in the next-generation GTO "

Does that mean the first Zeta will be the GTO or just that Pontiacs first Zeta will be the GTO?

....also , this hasn't been discussed in a while. When is the absolute earliest that a Zeta will be on a dealers lot? late Summer 2006?

It was my impression that the sedans would be released before the coupes. And that Pontiac will get the G8 sedan, shortly before the GTO.

Re: Buick and Zeta

So will the G8 replace the Grand Prix or will they continue to offer both so northern drivers who prefer FWD will have a Pontiac mid-sized choice?

As much as I love FWD I think its a mistake not to offer some choice for consumers in the most popular segments.

As far as I know, the W-car and Zeta sedan will be sold side by side in Pontiac showrooms...for at least a while.

LOL, I meant "as much as I love RWD." I think its a good strategy. GM would be well served to keep one mid sized FWD platform in their lineup for divisions offer as segments warrant.
