Buick Encore
The teaser photo looks promising, but I still can't see the name without thinking Renault. I guess most younger folk won't remember those.

Saturn Vue Chevrolet Captiva Sport announced for U.S. fleet customers
No, this vehicle is on Gamma like the Chevrolet Sonic, not Theta II like the Equinox.
The headlight shape definitely bears a little resemblance to the Vue, but otherwise, this is a totally unrelated vehicle. It's a smaller crossover than either Vue or Equinox.

Re: Buick Encore
I do think the Buick looks more refined, but as soon as I saw it I thought of the Vue

Re: Buick Encore
It does look very Vue-like. Which I think is a really good thing. The Vue is still one of the best looking little SUVs on the road. My wife loves them, but I wouldn't buy one because of Saturn tanking and quality issues. If this new Buick is built in the US and up to the new 'nox's quality we may buy this instead of the Equinox. I really like what I'm seeing so far and my wife will love that it's even smaller than the 'Nox.

Re: Buick Encore
It is a Buick and it is smaller than the Vue?
The Vue is already pretty small - noticably smaller than the longer-wheelbase Equinox, for example.
I guess we'll see how it plays out.
EDIT:
(Emphasis added)
OK, I hadn't seen the pic yet. Despite the claim above, it is IMO clearly smaller than the Equinox, and indeed looks smaller than the Vue as well. I'm not sure why Buick needs a sub-compact crossover like this. Is it really coming to the U.S.?

We still don't have the first hint of any vehicle specs, but that should change as we get closer to the crossover's January 10th reveal date

Re: Buick Encore
Yes, it is coming here:
Encore Crossover to Join Growing Buick Brand
This will most likely also be going to China. The Envision concept was shown earlier this year at the Shanghai show. It was also a small crossover.
