Great vid, lots of sideways action and smoking tires!

But my god, do those Brits ever seem to have a chip on their shoulders for anything not made in England. That's especially odd since they have no auto industry of their own to speak of anymore

i'm pretty sure that was meant to be ironic.

Yes, some of it was obviously joking around. But the overall tone seemed to me to be one of disdain for anything foreign. Have you ever read any of the British car mags? It's unbelievable how biased they are in their view of foreign cars.

Its because they recently beat us in the Rugby World Cup final..

They don't often get the chance to pile crap on us due to the fact we beat them at everything 99% of time

Talking

"what a poofter!!!!!" with traction control on....I really enjoyed watching it; Actually had a good laugh. Went back and listened/watched it a few more times... That guy's pretty funny.

I really want one now!!! Especially seeing a nice yellow Monaro while holidaying in Oz a few weeks back.

hehe. That was really cool, I want a GTO so bad now. too bad it'll be about 5 years before i can afford one. Couple things, I like those smoked tail lights the monaro has over the GTO's, and I also like its wheels a lot (dont know if theyre the same or not). What was that whole thing about the traction control about? that'd be pretty annoying if you were driving in the rain or something and put the tc on.... and north american gm cars (at least the couple ive driven) come with the tc on as default, they ding a couple times when you turn it off.
