body colored t-tops?

since we've been asking about tailights, 5.3 as an option, etc. in a new 5th gen camaro, i'd thought i'd bring this up
assuming the 5th gen gets t-tops, how many would like to see them colored the same exact as the body?
you see sunroofs on different cars the same color as the body and even on the vette with the targa, it is body colored (along with a see thru glass option)
so who would like to see this on the 5th gen? or as an option in addition to the glass see-thru ones?

I would like to see "light sensing" glass tint used, in day it would darken, but at night it would go clear so you could see the stars, etc...

Glass only.

Body colored tops would add uneeded cost, IMO...

Why am I beginning to get the impression that Gen-Y is trying to rice-out my 5th gen Camaro?

just normal tinted glass for me. Its so cool looking up through the roof while it is attached as opposed to what would just have to be normal ceiling carpet.

Normal like its always been tinted glass

but ....and for me its a big one !

Make them as invisible from the side profile of the car as possible . I love t-tops , but I also think when there on ...it looks ghetto as hell . By invisible I mean the glass should not continue on down to the side window ...there should be a body color separation there and it within the design it should be as hidden as possible .

I think a targa would be better . Body structures have improved so dramatically , that I really dont see what would constitute that bar in the middle anymore .

Id rather have a targa too, but I kinda like how you can see the ttops where they hit the window. Must be weird. I want to have a colored B (I think?) pillar that runs from the roof to the front fender like the 3rd gens had, not the black ones like the 4th gens had. The black looks out of place with hard tops when the tops are body colored.

I would say - go one way or the other.
Not both.

That brings up the price of the car to start adding options like that.

I like my tinted glass a lot. I love just staring straight up out the roof when im just sitting in the car or at a light. Plus the interior just feels nicer due to more illumination and you dont feel cooped up or trapped in some small dark enclosure.
