hell yes!! if/when i am in the market for a DD, this could be it. specially if they make a FRC version.
oh, and sky kills solstice in style.
Re: Blue Sky pic.
Initial impression from pics of the interior, I think I like the Sky's better than the Solstice.

Re: Blue Sky pic.
I could easily see a Sky Redline replacing my Camaro in the garage. Especially if it is a 250+ hp turbo. A few tweaks and 300+ hp would easily be obtainable.
Anybody know what they will weigh?

I gotta tell you.....the first time I saw a Saturn Sky in the studios.....I stopped dead in my tracks.......completely speechless. (and for those of you who know me, I'm RARELY speechless) The car, in my opinion, is what true artistic automotive design is all about.
Let me also say this (and hopefully I won't get into trouble again about talking about the future......) I've seen the next 5 years. Indeed, Mr. Lutz and Mr. Wellburn have changed a lot of things within GM. They've allowed the talent to do what they do best. Now, some of you will say "well, it's about Friggin time!"......and to you I say.....it took a long time for GM to get into the position it was in......and the Zarella regime did a lot of damage.....it can't be changed over night.....but you will now start to see the fruits of their labor ...the Sky is just the beginning.
That said, I'm not foolish enough to think that the other manufacturers are sitting still.....FAR from it! It's going to be a long uphill battle.....but my confidence level is higher than it's been in a longgggggggggggggg time.

Re: Blue Sky pic.
I would put this design right up there with the xlr, 60's stingray and maybe even the fastback fiero gt. Too bad the engine bay doesnt match the car's looks. Too beautiful of a car to get door dings-where's the plastic Bob?

Re: Blue Sky pic.
It's really hot in that blue too. It would have to be, the coupe for me, but I like them both. I can't wait til' we start to see ALL this "new" stuff rolling around out there. I was also amazed, when I saw the Sky on the AW cover. The old midyear Corvette coupe's are one of my favorite body styles, and I could see the coupe versions having that look a little in the back. Really Sweet in the pics, though!

Maybe you could have some sort of contest... and the winner gets a 1 day pass to see the "next 5 years"?!?
