GM is selling off some of thier jets..

After being skewered by lawmakers for traveling to Capitol Hill in a private jet, then begging for a taxpayer-funded handout, General Motors has made plans to sell two of its five corporate jets.
They have to do this right. If they end up doing it as a big "f-you" to congress, take 10 Suburbans, 10 Navigators, and 10 Aspii (plural of Aspen) it's going to bite them in the ***.
But if they do something like... having Rick drive the Volt from Detroit to DC fueling with only E85 produced from algae, well they might make a pretty bold statement about what they could do with a little bit of money.

I think it would be breathtaking if they collected "followers" along the way. THAT would really send a message to congress...thousands upon thousands of vehicles flood DC into gridlock until they vote 'YES' to the loans...

Other than the potential security issues, that would definitely send a message.
I'd love to see them ride into town in some very well known cars from their pasts...
Ford: '64 1/2 Mustang
GM: '57 Chevy Bel Air
Chrysler: Hemi 'Cuda
Not sure how I feel about the Chrysler pick, but I think the other two would be the best choices (even if the '57 isn't my favorite BelAir
)

Mulally might need to leave early to get there in time though...
I thought about the exact same thing. They should drive. But what?
Then I thought that Rick should drive a Volt, Bob should drive one of the 3 ENVI cars, and Alan could drive a hybrid Fusion (or something even better if they have it).
But how would the media look at that? They'd probably be accused of showing off. "Look at the cars we don't build", the media would say.
I know for sure they can't show up in any full framed vehicle or sports/muscle car.
